Paint correction is exactly what it sounds like. It is the process of removing imperfections in your paint while bringing back shine, depth, and clarity.
It does not hide the defects. A proper correction re-levels the paint itself, removing the swirls, scratches, and haze that dull the finish, rather than filling them in to reappear later.
Even a new vehicle can benefit. Think of the transport trucks carrying new cars to dealerships. By the time a vehicle reaches the showroom floor, it has often been washed and dried improperly, and you can already see light swirl marks and spider webbing under the lights. The condition of your paint decides how far a correction can go. In most cases we remove nearly all imperfections. In some, the paint is too far gone and the honest answer is a repaint.
